Hiller
Auction Service Auctioneers also
offer on-line auctions.
There are times that a live auction simply won’t
work as well as an on-line auction.
- Auction terms and conditions will sometimes vary from auction
to auction because of seller wishes. We will always strive
to
hold the on-line auctions up to the same standards our customers
have come to expect from our live auctions.
We encourage all bidders to attend to our auction previews
and inspect items for themselves.
We would never knowingly
misrepresent an item on an auction. However, even if we miss
a defect in an item, you are responsible for any item that
you are the high bidder. As in live auctions, our on-line auctions
have a staggered ending. Usually, one item per minute. The
time remaining will show under the bid boxes.
Our auctions
also have an auto extend feature. If there is a bid in the
final minute, the auction on that item will extend for 5 minutes.
It will extend as many times as needed, to determine the high
bidder.
You can do your bidding one bid at a time or you can
use the Maximum bid box. If you put in a “Max Bid” the
system will bid on your behalf up to your maximum you put in.
If you choose to bid one bid at a time, don’t forget to
hit the “refresh”.
If you don’t, you won’t know if your bid is still
winning.
Finally, items with registrations and/or titles will have an
additional fee added after the auction to cover
State of Minnesota fees along with a $25 documentation fee. Because
of where the buyer lives, prices may vary.
If you want us to let you know what it will cost you, contact
us at least 72 hours prior to the auction ending. |
